Very good beginners' detector.
This was purchased for my mother's birthday. She has had no experience detecting and I feel this is the perfect detector to start with. Should do well for what she is interested in doing. I am quite comfortable with the Garrett brand , as I own one for myself.

Excellent product!
I purchased this product for my son and we were playing with it within minutes of her opening it! He (and we) love it! It is very lightweight and easy to maneuver.The kids even enjoy playing with it. I would give 5 stars if there were a rechargeable battery. But overall, very great product!
