Great riser
If you’re short on rail space, this is a great solution. I like the height of this riser. This may not be for everyone, but it works well for me. The machining, manufacturing, and even the box it comes in are all very well made and thought out. This new version 2 is better than previous model including holes for tools to fit in, larger opening for connections etc.
Great CQB mount
Got this for my MK18 cuz I didnt have enough rail space for the Eotech, magnifier and Holosun Iris laser module. This allowed me to fit all of it in an ergonomic way. Hight over bore is increased, just know your holds.

Great Solution
I purchased the Hydra mostly out of curiosity and will now be getting another one. The Hydras accomplished two things for me; cleaned up the front of my rifle by moving the IR aiming device, enabling a clean grip, and it gets the optics to the eye a lot quicker. There is a little parallax to deal with on the height, but a straight zero only offsets by a couple inches at most ranges (tested within 200 M). I am really liking this set-up for CQ work
