Nice piece, but doesn't fit NATO Augs
It's a very nicely machined and finished piece, but nothing on Opticsplanet mentions that this is NOT for NATO version stocks. Best AUG sling mount
The factory forward aug sling mount was troublesome because it interfered with my optic and charging handle. This gearhead works sling mount works great! It was easy to install and it positioned the sling in a great spot. I will happily recommend this product.

Gear Head Works AUG receiver lock/qd socket is solid
I have this installed in a Sabre Defence made AUG, and it’s solid. No excess play, fitment is very snug. Zero possibility of moving the crossbar takedown unintentionally. The location of the sling qd socket works well, as the rifle is now better balanced, and keeps the sling clear of the action.

- Easy to install
- Adds no additional weight/bulk
- Improves slung ergonomics
