I had purchased a cheap clone rail when I bought my mr556 11’. After a year of taking it on and off for periodic cleaning the mounting screws stripped. After this I finally bit the bullet to buy the real deal after a 15% off sale. This should have been my first move. every thread is a insert and not drilled out off the aluminum hand guard making it very robust and an easy fix if it does strip. the quality of the aluminum is amazing. The pictures do not represent the updated inserted threads. Another note is the listing says its 7075-t6 however Geisssele’s website says 6061-t6 i think this is just an error. Highly recommend.
