Purchased this because they had geissele rails on sale cheaper than a mid tier rail. I love the mk8 , but you should always get what you prefer. You can nit pick any rail if you try hard enough, but I don't know anyone who wouldn't like to have a geiselle rail on their rig. The price was right and they had a free 2 day air shipping
