Geissele hangaurd
Product came in promptly looks great. I have not yet installed the hand guard. Another nice feature I didn't realize is that the hand guard comes with the wrench for tightening the barrel nut. The finish on the hand guard is a nice color and seems to be a rugged finish also.

Second Geissele rail
I own the mk7 rail as well. Bought this rail to lighten up my rifle a bit. Still plenty solid. Same mounting system. Reminds me of the mounting platform on the m27 iar. Only rails I’m interested in using anymore.

Fast shipping and quality product, handguard is well made with no issues. Only problem is the handguard didn't come with a barrel nut wrench, which I dont understand why geissele no longer provides. All in all im happy with it and goes well with my build.

mk8 geissele handguard
Super sturdy rail, the barrel nut needs a specific geissele brand barrel nut wrench, but other than that, this hand guard is amazing. Barrel nut gets torqued down then 2 bolts are basically "pinning" the hand guard the the nut. Then there are 2 set screws on the side to keep it aligned

mk8 geissele handguard
This hand guard is top notch, need a barrel nut wrench to install it though specifically the geissele brand. The barrel nut is snug in the hand guard and 2 bolts hold the rail to the barrel nut. Super sturdy and looks great.

Always outstanding.
Geissele quality is always extremely consistent. I ordered this rail for my 16” gun to move weight back toward me a bit and to balance the rifle a bit better. I was previously running a 15” mk4 rail and the barrel nut is the same. Makes for an extremely easy swap without having to refit the barrel and re-zero. Geissele mk4/mk8 barrel nuts are interchangeable. Mk14/mk16 are interchangeable with one another as well. Hope this helps.

Best rails hands down
Have many diff rails but Geissele continues to stand out and above the crowd buy with total confidence. Easily the most rugged rails I own. I don’t take it easy on them and anything mounted dot them always stays zeroed

Absolutely Fantastic as always - Requires modification for Wilson Combat billet uppers
I expected to have some trimming mating this with a billet upper, specifically Wilson Combat. The fit is close and just requires a few mm cut off the ears to clear. The anti rotation ears are still functional. Like Wilsom Combats handguards, this uses a 30mm wrench with the tab which many may have already but if not, you'll have to purchase it separately. Mine unfortunately did not come with the gas block or the swag but I'm using the Wilson low profile block and it clears fine. Overall, great stuff and it's as solid as I would expect. Optics Planet came thru on shipping yet again!

Rugged rail, super clean`
This is my favorite rail. Its not very heavy and is very rigid. Oh, its Geissele so there is that. The fit and finish on my 14.5 is superb and this sits on my SHTF rifle. I would trust this rail with my life and will buy no other rails from now on. Just wish it fit on my BCM MK2 rail:(

Freaking awesome
The rail is great and living on a 14.5" AR now. Sturdy while not being overly heavy. Highly recommend. The price was more than amazing considering it being on sale and having a 20% off promo with free shipping. I received my purchase in less than a week and couldn't be more pleased.
