Most Helpful Positive Review Will save you pennies on the dollar

I have several 5.56 rifles, some ARs, some military piston guns. I bought an OSS suppressor and put the OSS flash hiders on all them. Two had a poor alignment. Without this rod I'd have risked a baffle strike and been out $1,000+. If this rod prevents a single baffle strike, it paid for itself many times over.

Effective Safety Measures

Muzzle devices are cool until they aren't aligned right. This rod is an essential tool that effectively checks alignment of any muzzle device. It's best used for suppressors, but I used it on my muzzle break to ensure its alignment. If you enjoy saving money and being safe on the range after working on your rifle, I strongly recommend this product!

Better than a laser.

There is no doubt as to whether your can is aligned with the Geissele rod. This is better than a laser bore sight. The laser bore sight that I used was a bit off. It was off by about 2mm and indicated a misaligned suppressor. While this is more expensive, buy once, cry once.

baffle strikes suck

They are pricey but cheap if you consider how much it will cost to repair or replace a suppressor if it's not properly aligned. Good piece of mind item.

Added reassurance for alignment. Comes in clear plastic tube with end caps. Worked as expected. A simple tool that can aid in barrel, muzzle device and suppressor alignment.
