The rod was connected to the inside of the handle by some kind of glue. After using it for the first time, the handle ripped right off when trying to remove it. The handle has threads on the inside, but the rod itself has no threads to match. Either a poor design, a fake, or just cutting corners to save a buck; I can't tell.
