Most Helpful Negative Review Rod had no threads even though handle has threads
The rod was connected to the inside of the handle by some kind of glue. After using it for the first time, the handle ripped right off when trying to remove it. This tool is the perfect instrument for installing Geiselle triggers! Once the “slave” pin is in place, the Geiselle Trigger/Hammer Fitting Pin can be used to ease the Trigger pin into place. It is also very useful when installing the hammer pin. Make life easier on yourself!

Surprise, it works!

Fitting pin works perfectly, used it for installing multiple Geissele triggers. Not sure what other reviews are referencing as the tool seems well enough made and I can’t imagine it breaking apart with normal use. Geissele trigger pins are well machined and don’t really require much force to insert or remove. $15 is a little pricey but it does make things a lot easier.

Great tool

Yes you can use a punch to get the job done but this makes life so much easier because it’s the same size as the holes in the receiver so things line up way nicer. I’ve used this many of times and even with the most stubborn trigger/hammer pins it’s a breeze. If you build a lot of ARs it’s a great purchase.

Makes Your AR-15 Build Go That Much Easier

Right off the bat... it is SUPER pricey for what it is.

HOWEVER... it does make your AR-15 build go that much easier.

Having done a few builds... sometimes, installing the hammer and the trigger goes easy. Other times, not so much. It during these other times that this tool comes in handy.

I was struggling with the trigger & hammer pins on this one build, making ZERO progress. I paused, ordered this tool... and then it went like butter.

If you're going to do more than one build, help yourself with this tool.

Better than using a Punch

using this tool over using a regular punch has made install and takedowns faster. You can still get the same performance using a regular punch but having that ball at the end just makes for a faster and pain free install/removal.

Excellent Tool

The Geissele fitting pin is the perfect tool for the job. It makes trigger and installation and removal much easier. I'm not sure what it's made out of, but it feels naturally slick and won't mar either you trigger or receiver. The chamfered tip is a nice touch. Easily worth the price - even for just one trigger install (though I have used it for several now).

I didn't think I would need this

Wrong! The high price for a guide pin put me off for some time but really it does make pin insertion very easy without fear of damaging receiver or item your working on. The end is slightly beveled so it doesn't catch on the hard edge of the frame holes. The ball end is perfect for pressing thru stubborn hammers with heavy springs that resist pin alignment.

Great tool

I used this tool when I installed my Geissele Super Tricon Trigger. I have never installed a trigger before and using this made it so natural I don't know if it was meant to be as easy as it was. It also prompted me to buy the rest of the tools Geissele makes because it's so high quality and simple. A plus tool in my opinion.
