Wilson Combat AR-10 Threaded Barrel
I purchased this thinking Wilson Combat was a solid choice but it’s been anything nice. The barrel I received had a severely undersized gas port of 0.061 so I had to open it to 0.080. Then the finishing on the chamber itself was also very rough which required $200 worth of gunsmith work just to get the gun to work correctly. I do not recommend and would suggest a DD or something.

Nice grip!

I’m a big fan of Fab Defense products especially their stocks and grips. This grip has a great fit, finish, and feel to it. The only downside is that it doesn’t come with a screw but that’s not an issue. Overall, I’d highly recommend it!

Great Trigger

These trigger is far nicer than a Mil-spec trigger. It has far less creep, less grit, smoother reset and just had a far better feel. Is it a Geisle? No. But it’s also far less expensive as well. For the money I believe this and the BCM triggers are very close.

Spikes makes great parts and I run some of these upper receivers and they have been flawless. Fit and finish is great and the tolerances are good and tight. The packaging leaves a lot to be desired compared to Aero or BCM but that’s really my only grip with Spikes.

I’ve bought several of these to keep on hand. They have a great mix of springs, detents, pins, and springs you may need. It’s small enough to keep in a range bag or carrier pouch. The kit is great quality and I’ve never had a single issue.

Geissele Trigger/Hammer Fitting Pin
Yes you can use a punch to get the job done but this makes life so much easier because it’s the same size as the holes in the receiver so things line up way nicer. I’ve used this many of times and even with the most stubborn trigger/hammer pins it’s a breeze. If you build a lot of ARs it’s a great purchase.
Fantastic Upper

This upper has a very nice and tight fit and finish especially when paired with an Aero lower. For the money and even higher priced uppers don’t have the quality, fit, finish, or features that the Aero M4E1 uppers have. Absolutely no complaints at all and it’s very accurate as well.

This is an extremely nice trigger especially for the money! The pull and reset is extremely short and the trigger itself is well made. It’s ashamed these have been discontinued as the fit, finish, and feel are really great.

This is my go to BCG. I have never had any issues with the Spikes BCG and they are built really well. For the money they are hard to beat and despite the phosphate finish, they clean up well. You will not regret this purchase!
