The kit arrived with one arrow broken in the box.
My first arrow shot was from the Gen X set and the arrow shattered in three pieces .
One piece hit my bow hand. The broken piece badly cut my hand and I had to go to Urgent Care.
The rest of the arrow was down range in two pieces. Dangerous arrows and should not be included with the Bow.

I had a chance to take the bow out for the first time. It was great! We attached the D-Loop and measured the draw weight at about 44 pounds out of the box. That draw weight works for me and, of course, it is adjustable. Next, I'm having a peep sight added to the bow string.

Love this bow. Ready to go right out of the box.Easy to adjust.

I was a little apprehensive purchasing from here. I've been scammed by another site that never existed. Optics Planet with an interesting name is for real. Ordered prior from Amazon a Genesis 20-40 draw, received Original 0 to 20#. I contacted that company and they said Amazon had it wrong that Genesis doesn't make 20-40 as listed. I looked on Genesis Home site and saw this one. After a search I found Optics.
Great communication and company. Received my new Bow in the time they promised for a better price than buying directly.
We camp a lot and plan on using it on Targets at our state parks camping areas. I purchased an Original Blue Bow for my wife so that we can enjoy target shooting together. I love this already has a site and nice arrow rest. As an Eagle Scout I shot many Bow and Arrows and Rifles while at camp. Great to be taking up again some of the things I did in my youth. Archery can be for all ages and skills. If you a thinking about getting one or any sport equipment I suggest purchasing from Optics Planet.
