Nice knife for the money
Would have given a 5 if it came with a brief instruction for the fire starter. Easy to figure out, but would have been nice. Rubberized grips, we will see how they hold up, but overall, the knife is well built, nice sheath, can use MOLLE straps and attach with no problem. Well balanced too. I had heard some people say this knife was no good, but I like it. Good bug out bag knife.

Awesome knife. Very sturdy and nice looking. Hope to have it for a while. Great job optics planet in customer service. I will get a lot of opportunities to test this knife over the next several months.

Thought it was gimmiky but I was wrong!!!
The folders of the BG knives were disappointing because it is a decent blade bolted to a plastic handle with no metal to reinforce it. I was sure this knife would be the same when I got it as a gift. Was I wrong!! I bushcraft HARDCORE and this knife has taken every punishment I could dish out and still comes back for more. I have batoned wood, dug fire pits, dressed game, ect... the blade is easy to sharpen and to keep sharp. The grip feels nice and comfy and easy to hold on to while wet or wearing bulky winter gloves. The fero rod and diamond stone on the sheath is a nice touch adding to the multi functionality of it all. I don't use the fero rod and reserve it for emergency use only but I can tell you it does its job and is secure where it will not fall out on an off chance. All in all this knife impressed me and continues to do so. It has become my constant companion in the bush.

Gerber Bear Grylls Survival Fixed Blade Knife 31-000751
I am very happy with the grip of the knife and it fits my hand perfectly. The blade is very sharp and the placement of the flint starter at the top is right where it needs to be. I received my order quickly and I will be buying more items from this company as their prices are fair and selection is awesome!
