Great product. Perfect tool to carry in your pocket or on a go bag. I find daily uses for the Shard. Use it mostly as a pry tool, screwdriver, and bottle opener. Not the best screwdriver in the world, but it works on small screws when you don't want to go hunt down a small specialty screwdriver. ...

Most Helpful Negative Review Not that practical
Thought I would be able to carry this in my pocket but some of the edges are sharp enough to get caught on things.Guess it would be ok on a keychain carried outside the pocket. Pros: Nice tool options ,mulifunctional Cons: Heavy with edges too sharp to carry in pocket

A handy pocket tool to be kept on a keychain. Was back ordered forever, but was kept notified as to the order status by your staff. Gave to my employees for daily use. They were happy to see it had a bottle opener as well :)

Ok, but there has to be better.

This does everything it is advertised to do. It is handy to have on your key chain, and is what I was looking for. Only issue is that the design makes it so it is not very comfortable in your pocket on your key chain. It does not conform with the rest of the keys, and part of it sticks out awkwardly. It is what it is, I just will be looking for something else.

Gerber Shard Keychain Tool

The Shard tool is very compact and light but still has enough strength to serve as a useful tool. So far it has passed through numerous airports' security scanning without any problems.
Pros: small and useful with substantial strength; allowable as carryon on flights

Handy but not perfect

The Shard is a neat idea. The wire stripper works fairly well, as does the bottle opener. The Phillips screwdriver is better used as a pointy weapon. It is supposedly a ruler - I guess the bottle opener being 2" long counts. Pry bar - not. Large & small flat drivers - adequate. Keychain - it does have a hole in it.
Pros: Small, good bottle opener, can be had for under $4
Cons: Phillips driver useless, not really 7 tools
Would recommend: Yes

This little thing packs a punch! A bunch of different tools in this small and convenient key chain, I def recommend it!
