Love. This. Scope This is a scope you could mount on just about anything and get work done. (Not talking to the ELR guys, but they're not looking at these) First. Yes. There is a center red dot but its hard to see in the photos. The illumination is absolutely daylight bright. I would say just as bright as a quality red dot sight. Something I love about the illumination was something I was initially unsure of. It is stepless. Meaning it doesn't have "settings" or "clicks." It rotates smoothly like the volume knob in your car. Excellent value, clear glass!

Having used cheap scopes for years for deer hunting I decided to spend more than $200.00 this year. And I couldn't be happier with this GPO scope!The adjustments are extremely accurate and the glass is clear. The red dot is daylight bright. Laser bore sighted then 1st shot at 60 yards, came up and right. 2nd shot at 100 yards hit 1" high and the windage was spot on. No more shots necessary! I went 3 clicks up, returned to the shop and reset the turrets to zero. I have a photo but don't see how to post it!

  • The advertised free turret, it's not free.

  • 300 yards and less
