I took a chance on GPO a few years ago and I have no regrets whatsoever with their scopes. They are a modern take on rifle scopes that have all the features you need and they have some of the features you would want. They are not a budget type scope, not really cheap to buy, what makes them worth the price is all you get for the price. I am not saying they are going to replace Leupold. But a scope from Leupold doesn’t give you what the GPO scope gives you. Great clear glass, excellent tracking, very tactile turret adjustments, a forgiving eye box, very smooth movement of the adjustment rings and a removable thumb lever. The reticle is fantastic yet simple enough to use hunting. The center dot is very good for both hunting and precision shooting and the illumination of the scope center dot is smooth and stepless. The reostat is the best I have seen. The parallax adjustment seems to be spot on the distances on the dial also. The RC650 model is a great all around model,3-18x44 it will cover all the bases, not break the bank, or disappoint. I own 5 of them. Also they have excellent customer service if you need them. I liked them so much I sold Leupold VX-2’s and 3’s on eBay to get them. Too me, they are a better buy.
