KISS exemplified

I’ve been shooting rifles for 40 years and have had countless scopes. High end and middle tier . Most variable but I always found myself for 90% of my shots hovering around 6X. I had a Leupold FX3 fixed 6X (discontinued) and it will always be one of my favorite scopes. Something about the wide field of view and clear glass and brighter picture that lets your eye and mind take in the whole scene so much better. This comes from the simplicity of design of a fixed power scope. You’re not tweaking the magnification ring or like most shooters simply maxing it out and then dealing with seeing your heartbeat or the shaky from high magnification. I also had a 10X fixed power mildot scope, also one of my favorites.

There is a lot to say for keeping it simple stupid philosophy.

This GPO 7.5X Fixed power scope is the new King for what fixed power should be. It has a perfect balance of power for easy shots to distance, you see better color rendition and resolution that lets you see more detail.

If you have never tried a fixed power scope, you don’t know what you are missing. You will be pleased to no end.

If I were going to suggest an optional improvement, getting a Kenton industries custom turret for your load. Also you can get a turret from GPO that is exposed for faster adjustment and no worries about losing the cap.
