Quality and value are really good with this one
Monoculars need more love. This unit is far better than most out there.
FOV is average - no complaint
Optical quality is very good - large sweet spot, well-controlled CA (very, very good for the price), great clarity in low-light (far better than I expected here)
Build is stout, and the focus knob is very fluid and easy to turn with one finger. It is easy to fine tune with no perceived slack. The position of the knob is great for slant holding (focus knob almost over my nose), but the front objective cover can flop in the way when viewing objects high up, so I tuck it under my hand. I also wish it had a tab to make it easier to remove because it is rubber and sits very flush.
Weight is lower than stout binoculars, higher than tiny monoculars. This thing was a revelation that you can get good glass and good ergonomics for a good price and that a solid view quality allows for a more relaxed viewing experience, even with one eye closed/covered. Get one and take it with you everywhere.
