Wanted a good all around, simple scope on my "loaner" hunting rifle for when I take guests along with me.
Didn't want illumination or side focus or any other features to be a distraction.
Fairly lightweight, robust design. Mounted, zero'd, and haven't had to adjust since.
Came with an offer for turrets calibrated to a specific load which is great because it simplifies making adjustments in the field if needed.
First GPO scope and it reminds me of my Nikon...good glass and crisp turrets for a reasonable price.
It doesn't do everything but it does what it was designed to do well.

Gpo 4x 12x44 gun scope
Verry happy with this scope..better to buy online ..australia 300 doller more.a realy bight and semi compact scope...hard to beet this one in its price range.....go to your gun shop and have a look through one...you will be sold...on it...i have seen a karls go for over 3000 in australia...this is a realy good scope.the gpo 4x12x42..is realy impressive
Solid scope, clear glass.
I bought this scope for my wife's rifle, but I'm gonna have to hunt with it after test fitting it on my tikka t3x. The scope is sharp and feels really good. I'm testing it in the shadows now and I like it. The scope that was previously mounted on my tikka was a leupold vx-lll 3.5x10x40 and I'd rather have this one. I hunt primarily for whitetail deer in the southeast in a mix of pines, clearings and thick brush. 200 yards is a long shot for me. I think this is a great balance for my application. I shoot 308 and 30-06 almost always. Hope this helps anyone who might have similar needs in a scope, I think you'll enjoy this one. I'll update if I have any issues

Very nice optic
So far I really like this scope, I have it on a lightweight rifle and it balances the gun perfectly. Super crisp and clear. Adjustments track true. Only downside I have found is the finish scuffs easily.

Good price point
I saw this scope and read reviews and decided to buy it . The price point was good. I don’t regret buying it . Very nice scope . Would recommend it.
