GG&G 45 Degree offset
I used to offset a small burris red dot scope on my AR-15. This is a very well made adapter. The quality is great and it "looks great" on the gun.
Pros: A high-quality, nicely finished US-made product, great for mounting backup red-dot or offset sights
Cons: None

Sits too close to the top rail!
If you have a scope or any item attached to the top rail that overlaps this rail mount you will not be able to attach this mount to the top rail because the 45 degree picatinny rail is too close. Even when I did manage to attach this to my AR-15, the 45 degree sits too high; it doesn't much the 45 d...

Can’t handle blowback from muzzle brake
If you have a gun with a lot of blow back it is no bueno. I was doing indoor cqb drills and witching 6 shots it got blown off and continued to get blown off every 2 shots.
Pros:
- well built
Cons:
- Retention screws on the mount begin to loosen after extended firing

Not a good experiance
1st it is to small and didn't clear my scope
2nd the bolt snapped with hardly any torque on it.
It wasn't even stable yet and the bolt snapped easy.
I clearly wouldn't buy again. Never heard of GG&G, but I don't intend to buy anything from them again.

Poorly designed
I bought this to use for a red dot in conjunction with my lpvo. Unfortunately this design positions the red dot too close to right adjustment knob of the scope. The scope right side adjustment knob severely obscures your ability to see the dot.

Greg Irwin PA
Picked up the 45 Degree mounts to raise my Night-Eye lights on both my coyote gun. The lights would shine/cast the red light beam a little low at 200 plus yards. Moving the location of the lights took care of the problem. These are nice mounts and well made. Really happy with the set up now.
Pros:
- well constructed and light weight
Cons:
- Stick out a little in gun case

easy install
It does what it is supposed to do. I mounted it on my top rail in front off my scope to offset my red dot. Took minutes to install and works as I need it to. Some debate on weather to install it in front of the scope or behind. It could mount in either spot. I will try it behind next time out and see if it is any better.

GG&G Mount
This mount is exactly what I was looking for. This mount is more of a 35 degree offset than 45 degree offset, so the wind adjustment knob from your main optic might get in the way of your canted optic (Perk: Less sharp angle so you don't have to flare your arm a lot). When canted, the optic sits at a 1/3, perfect so you don't have to bury your head into the stock (With consistent head placement, this makes it easy to transition between optics).

Great mount, but be careful!
This mount is extremely light, and acts exactly as described. I bought it to offset a red dot to the strong side of my scope, unfortunately it does not like out far enough, and half of the sight picture is obstructed by the adjustment dial. Just something to consider with this mount
Pros:
- Price
- Weight
- Aesthetics
- secure mounting
Cons:
- Not extended far off of gun
Best Used for:
- lights

Well made mount
Bought this mount for my center fire rifle. Its well made and very sturdy. Unfortunately it didn't give me the relief from my scope mount and had to purchase on that was closer to 90 degrees. If I had more picatinny rail on my rifle I could have used it but

Notformysetup
I’m having the same problems as the other review it sits to high and to the center to get a uninstructed view threw scope or dot if set in front. It is not going to work for mounting my weapon light where I want it- I will have to find one that drops lower- that being said it is beautifully built and machined with a awesome finish-I really wished it could work-maybe it would be great for a different application

Awesome mount!!
Some may say that all rails and mounts are the same! I say thats wrong! Some products rise to that next level. This mount is refined, and well designed. The angle between the base of the mount and the rail is better thought out. The threads are clean, and the machining is spot on. This may not always be needed but, if you trust your life to a weapon system, every detail matters!!
Pros:
- Grunt Grade!
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- Multiple
