Great product for military weapons - GG&G Agency Rear Sling Attachments, Collapsible Stock - Looped

This is a great product for military or police weapons, as it allows you to use a single point sling without modifying the weapon. Most armorers will not authorize an endplate swap in order to install a rear sling attachment point. I'm not a fan of having the sling attached to the buttstock... so this is an excellent solution. If used in conjunction with a H&K style sling clip, it works great. if used with a Magpul MS3, it works... but is less than ideal. The loop is too fat for the Magpul clip, and so it gets chewed up pretty good... and chews up the end of your sling clip as well. It won't allow the sling loop to really rotate as much as it should either. Also, it is just fat enough that on a standard M4, it won't allow the stock to lock in on the shortest setting, which is really frustrating. I ended up shaving down the narrow end of the buttstock until it was short enough that it locked into place.

Just keep that in mind when puchasing a sling. It does tend to slide around if it gets some real force put on it... and twice I've had to readjust it in 3 months. The instructions caution against overtightening the screw, so I was careful not to reef on it initially. It was pretty snug... but in the end I had to crank it down pretty good to get it to stay in place. Since then, I've had no issues at all. Its' a great product, just wish that the loop was rounded instead of so squared off, and that it was a tad bigger so that it would work with the Magpul MS3.
