GG&G Combat Carry Case For PVS14 NV Monocular

by Todd G, Verified Owner from VA, United States Written on January 21, 2016
This was a great investment to protect my PVS14. As part of my work I have the highest quality ITT Pinnacle Monocular available. So putting my PVS14 in a hard case is desirable protection. The hard case is excellent for impact events. My NV has an anodized body and snugged up tight against this smooth plastic case I don't expect any wear of the PVS14 body over time due to running. I like how it provides protection from rain when attached to outer vest webbing and when tossed inside operations sack it is well protected from other metal hardware banging around when maneuvering through woods, running, jumping walls and fences.

GG&G PVS-14 Hard Case

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner Written on April 4, 2012
This is a nice hard case for a PVS-14. It's tough choosing between a form fitting hard case and a padded case/pouch. The hard case is better for impact resistance and worse for vibration. The hard case also is purpose build so it won't hold anything but the scope, j-arm & GG&G flex-mount ring. A padded case tends to be less bulky and can hold more due to it's lack of rigidity. In my situation, I solved the dilemma by ordering both.
Pros: Solid protection from impact in a form fiitting, rigid case
Cons: Padded liner would be nice but that would increase size
