Fit my lower receiver perfectly. Makes it easier to move rifle to firing position.

These sling adapters are terrible. The first one I bought sheered completely in two trying to fit it on my buffer tube. The replacement I received went on and left massive gaps between the receiver and my Magpul stock. These are complete junk. Try another brand like Daniel Defense. Maybe their fitment is better.

I used the GG&G looped receiver end plate sling adapter with my ar-15 and the fab defense SSR-25 sniper stock. Along with the Allen single point sling it makes carrying my rifle with a free floating rail-less barrel much easier. The fitment was great and the install to a total of about 15 minutes. It seems plenty beefy to support my heavy rifle.

This is a review relevant to order #2607956, the GG&G Looped Receiver End Plate Sling Adapter for Fixed Stocks. While these kinds of adapters have been available for the collapsible stock variants of the AR 15 platform for a while now, this is the first one I have been able to locate that is designed for the fixed stock variant. Thanks to GG&G for manufacturing the adapter and thank you Optics Planet for locating and marketing it. I did an extensive search on the web for the best price I could find and Optic Planet was where I found it.

The ordering process was simple and straightforward. So many web sites make the customer jump through all kinds of hoops in order to, I guess, accumulate marketing data but the Optics Planet checkout was all business, aimed solely at getting the product ordered, paid for and shipped. On top of that the product arrived in a very timely manner, and the product was exactly what I had ordered. The whole experience was everything one would hope it to be in such a transaction.

In addition, the card which came with the product, for a $15.00 discount on my next order, was a nice touch. Might have been a little better if the expiration date on the card hadn't come and gone four or five days before the package arrived, but hey, it's the thought that counts, right?.
