Brian's Review of GG&G M1A Scout Scope Mount

Easy install. It does leave a small gap between the top and bottom of the mount maybe 1/16" gap compared to the flush factory mount. Rifle still functions dry though have not made it to the range. Mount also causes a slight flair on the sides of the factory heat shield on socom 16 model. Maybe slightly wider than factory mount. Meets needs so long as it holds up at the range.

  • moving scope towards eye
