Most Helpful Positive Review Fantastic ergonomic attachment for the Mossberg 590 / 500 series shotguns...
Hi, I recently purchased this item with the intention of using it with a 3 point sling system on my Mossberg 500A 12 gauge shotgun. When used with GG&G's rear single looped sling attachment it allows your to carry the shotgun at the ready position while leaving your hands free to deal with other things. It let's your back & neck carry the weight of the gun for a less stressful hunt!

Good adapter

This is a good sling mount for the Mossberg. It’s a nice heavyweight steel and mounts easily. It’s thin and lightweight and the Magpul sling clips to it easily and makes for a great combination together.

So far so good

by Mike, from OK, United States Written on January 15, 2018
It feels like it might be light and susceptible to bending but so far it hasn’t. I was leary enough I actually tried to bend it by hand but it didn’t even so much as flex. I’ll need to use it and expose it to having the sling and gun’s weight torquing it to make a final assessment.
Pros:
  • Light weight yet appears strong and affordable
Cons:
  • none so far
Best Used for:
  • Shotgun sling mount

Heavy duty

by Michael M, from OK, United States Written on October 15, 2017
Much better product than anticipated. I wanted a front sling mount for the magpul...the one with the clips and I didn't want to have my sling interfering with a light. This put the sling right where I wanted it. It is also heavy enough I don't anticipate it bending. I will update if it does.
