Perfect for the JM Tactical
I bought this for my JM Tactical model and fits perfectly. I am lefty, it is designed to go RH or LH,so mine is installed with rail to right of the stock. The finish of the mount is a match to the shotgun and the mount rail sets close to the forearm stock. Perfect for mounting a flashlight.

This is what I needed for mounting a gunlight on my Mossberg 930 shotgun and was easy to install.

Mossberg 930 sling flashlight attachment
Easy to add... strong and exactly as described.... 5 minutes and done and that’s including going to the safe and getting it. A flashlight is what most people will buy this unit for, but as we can all see it can be used for the white light and a laser. I have no pros and cons about this item at this time l.

Great product
Very sturdy, easy install. Wish it was able to install at the 6 o’clock position as well but it works great otherwise. I measured my barrel to make sure I was ordering the correct mount and it fit perfect. I used mine for a light laser combo.

Better options out there
My first complaint is this is heavy for what it is. It's made of steel, not alum. And since it's out towards the muzzle, you feel this weight more. If you have a Mossberg JM Pro like me, you have a Nordics COmponents Magazine extension and the NC barrel clamp. This NC barrel clamp actually has 10/32 threaded holes in the middle to accept, guess what!?, a pic rail and QD sling adapter! Exactly what this GG&G part does, but in a more elegant solution. IMHO of course. I purchased the NC pic rail and QD sling adapter here on OPticsplanet. I believe the two together are roughly the same cost as this GG&G part. I would suggest going that route if you have the JM Pro.

GG&G Mossberg 930 Sling & Flashlight Mount Combo
Once you understand that the Mossberg 930 has two different barrel diameters and find the place on the web site that tells you how to measure, the mount installs easily and works as expected. As always, take care with the magazine spring when disassembling. Don't ask how I know.
