Simple solution

Sling attachments like these used to be common. They’re better than QD socket attachments in that the slung item doesn’t flip to the right or dangle randomly.

Not for left handed AR 15 users

Nice, strong product, but not made for lefties. The Right side ring(the side I use since I am left handed) is right in front of the "Forward assist Assembly". I don't use the Forward assist Assembly often but when the sling moves around it really scratches up the "Forward assist Assembly". So not recommend for lefties.
Pros: Compact, strong, fits well
Cons: The Right side ring is too close to the FORWARD ASSIST ASSEMBLY
