Well made solution
I got two of these to go on a couple of 1187 tactical police models. These were the best light mounting solution I could find as options are limited for the 1187 platform. These mounts seem very well-made, relatively lightweight and high quality. Only concern is they are two pieces put together with screws so I hope they are locktited from the factory. The fitment was very good And I would recommend getting this style with the sling attachment for the left or right side as I ended up mounting it on the opposite side of where I thought I wanted it. I’m very pleased with my purchase and I strongly recommend this product if you’re looking for a good solution to mount a lot on your Remington 1100 or 1187. I may even look into getting one of these for a 870 and trying it out.

Works like a charm
Machined perfectly to sit on the bag tube. You have 4 points of security holding the product in place on your shotgun: on the top, you have the barrel; on the bottom you have the magazine tube; on the front and back, you have the magazine tube CAP and the tube itself, respectively. This fact, as well as the obvious high quality machining you get from GG&G, should assure you that your rail and it's accessories won't rattle apart during firing. I have a flashlight mount on this and it works wonderfully.
