Maybe it just didn't work with my shotgun, which is a 870 hardwood home defense. I installed it on my shotgun, and the cap for my magazine extension must not have been threaded on enough. I tightened it down as much as I could, but the thickness of the mount must have prevented it from seating correctly. Anyway I threw my Olight on one night and took it out on the river with me. I went to test it out and on my last shot I saw my flashlight fall into the water. It didn't take long to realize that it wasn't only my flashlight, it was the barrel, mag extension, and the mount with my $100 flash...

GG&G 870 LH Light Mount

The GG&G LH Light Mount fit my 1958 Remington 870 shotgun perfectly. I was concerned about the ratchet function of the magazine cap, and resulting tightness of the bracket. Those concerns were unfounded as the GG&G bracket fit and functions flawlessly.

Streamlight TLR-1

As usual from Streamlight, a perfect weapon light. Excellent ergonomics and function. I've run Streamlight products for years with zero issues, concerns or complaints. In this current application I could not have chosen a better light.
