I love the saddle but… - GG&G Remington Tac-14 Side Saddle Shell Holder, 5-Shot

I love this GG&G saddle BUT, it’s not compatible with the Crimson Trace laser saddle because of the way the mounting slots were designed with the heli threading. The Mesa Tactical aluminum side saddle works perfectly with the Crimson Trace laser saddle, it just doesn’t have the 15 degree angled slots, which look pretty sweet and are supposedly ergonomically beneficial (though the standard straight version has always got the job done for me.) I already owned a Remington version of the Crimson Trace laser, and bought this GG&G saddle - both for my tac 14 - but wound up having to use the GG&G saddle on another gun, which sucked. When it came down to aesthetics or practically, I chose the latter. I’d like to hit the target if I ever have to use the darn thing
