This side saddle shell holder is very well made. It looks really sharp on my shotgun because of the slanted shell holder and is much easier to get shells out in order to load. The tension holds the shells perfectly I really like it. As a matter of fact I bought 2

I love the saddle BUT…

I love this GG&G saddle BUT, it’s not compatible with the Crimson Trace laser saddle because of the way the mounting slots were designed with the heli threading. The Mesa Tactical aluminum side saddle works perfectly with the Crimson Trace laser saddle, it just doesn’t have the 15 degree angled slots, which look pretty sweet and are supposedly ergonomically beneficial (though the standard straight version has always got the job done for me.) I already owned a Remington version of the Crimson Trace laser, and bought this GG&G saddle - both for my tac 14 - but wound up having to use the GG&G saddle on another gun, which sucked. When it came down to aesthetics or practically, I chose the latter. I’d like to hit the target if I ever have to use the darn thing

Convenient Accessory

This side saddle shell holder is both practical and convenient. It compliments my Remington TAC 14 and is an attractive addition. It was easy to install and functionality cannot be denies. Highly recommend.

What I was missing

I have a GG&G side saddle on my Remington 870 Tactical. I love it. So when I got the Tac-14, I knew that I would get the side saddle for it as soon as I seen they had one for it. Just like all GG&G products I've purchased, well made and fits like a charm. Love the look and functionality.
