Nice grip for what it is
The grip works as it should. But instead of solid black the the description says it is. It’s more of a solid gray. So if your doing an all black build and need a hand grip you might want to skip this.

stubby is good for ar pistols, but it must be a sbr
i registered my ar pistol as an sbr. i wanted a vertical forgrip, this is the best there is. your able to handtighten this. so if it gets loose, u can adjust it right away. its nice because its not so slippery.

This gives you an excellent VFG with that OG 2000s look...it locks up tight. The polymer feels excellent.

GG&G SFG-1 Short Vertical Grip (AR 15)
The vertical grip is great to put on a traditional AR hand-guard. It withstands a good amount of pressure and torque , although it did get loose the first time I took it to the range it was probably my fault for not tightening to specifications. Once i tightened it was good to go and hasn’t came loose since. Fired about 250 rounds through it no problem . Great addition for improved stability and ergonomics.

I have this one and its bigger brother; both work very well and are well made. The batter compartment can be a little tricky to access at times but it's not meant to be opened all the time. Give it a try

great KAC alternative
This actually feels better than the KAC version, it's not quick detach but you don't need tools to remove in the field either, feels secure and solid. Looks less black than in the picture and more of a dark gray, which doesn't bother me a bit, just something to note. I am tempted to pick of up the long skinny version of this as well. GGG is GTG.

Recent purchase
I've always liked this product, I was excited to find and for the price listed. I will highly recommend both this product and optics planet. As always with this company the expeditious shipping was awesome. I will definitely be making several more purchases in the future.

Another Winner
Once again I got a winner from Optics Planet. I mounted this on my Troy "Charlie" battle rail and it is perfect. It's not too long or bulky to be cumbersome. I can't wait to get to the range to try it out!
