I’ll just start off by saying I’m not sure what the other one star review was waffling on about. I’ve not had any issue whatsoever with mine. It’s worked impeccably and I love that it comes with a rail mount as well. The window size is really what sets it apart while still having the RMSc footprint.

Large window optics for RMSC footprint

Everything is going small nowadays. I purchased a Canik elite SC due to all the reviews of how good it shoots, and it does shoot really good. At the time I was planning to conceal carry it and bought a micro dot to for this setup. I'm not that big of a guy and the Elite SC has a meaty slide for its category, so it ended up being more of a bedside gun or winter carry only. That being said, a small optic is sometimes hard to pick up without practice. I wanted the biggest window I could find for RMSC pattern similar to Trijicon SRO and found this. Got it mounted and zero'd and couldn't be happier. The 6 moa green dot is a great size for a home defense option and it is plenty bright to pick up in the big window. Definitely recommend if you want a large window.

The Judge XL 1x22.5x28mm Reflex Red Dot Sight came quickly, and was a quick sighting in. Have used twice for 200 rounds and working great so far.

Big window optic for RMSc footprint.

This is my second Gideon judge xl that I have purchased from optics planet. This optic is amazing and the glass is very clear and the green dot is very crisp.
Best Used for:
  • 1911 and 2011 pistols with rmsc direct mount.
