Best in class at the price
I think very highly of this company as it seems they have budget in mind while delivering excellent optics.
I own and have used several enclosed red dot optics that have a circle dot reticle and I can honestly say this bad boy hangs with them all and beats the pants off of a romeo5 or similar. Not to mention it comes with a 1913 riser and an acro footprint. Very versatile.
Strong glass, great build quality, and a shake awake technology. Look at the price and tell me why you would go with something at a higher price point.
Gideon Mediator Red Dot
Competitively priced, runs on arrival, very clear and crisp reticle, good brightness settings, and shipped in a timely manner. Overall very pleased.

Good optic for the money
I installed the optic on my A300 ultra patrol. So far so good. Only problem I have is that for some reason the cross air looks not level. Is probably me but it looks a little off

defective item
the optic i received came defective. I have swapped out the battery three times and the optic wont turn on no matter what i do.

Good quality optic
Seems very well built and I don't think you are going to beat the price. The field of view is about half of similar holosun so if you are looking for extremely fast target acquisition this is not what you are looking for.

i love this optic
Let’s be real. This is a Kraken clone - and it’s awesome! I have tried other optics with the same profile and feature and the clarity on this optic is fantastic. Buttons are great and adjustments all click nicely. Installed on combat elite, fits nicely. Saved a few $ and all the same features as the big brand name optic.

Great affordable optic on the market, hands down.
Purchased the Gideon six months ago. And the quality and price were excellent. No issues with performance at all. Compare it to all top tier optics. Great job Gideon!

Better than I thought it would be
Didn’t except much but gave it a try for the price. I put it in a pistol, had to buy and adapter plate to do so, because it doesn’t come with one. Basically zeroed out of the box. Around 300 rounds no issue. If you are buying Chinese seems to be a good option.

Gideon Mediator just works.
Wanted green, watched my estimated ship dates move, and move.. Can't do it again. Switched to red (in stock) and am currently doing my eval. So far, everything works for a light/med duty application. Doesn't feel cheap, We will have to see if it holds up. Just seems to work at a budget price point. Shake awake is great, and it should be the industry standard now.

Good starter optic for the price
The only complaint I have so far is that the field of view is smaller than what I would expect I. Todays modern optics. That’s more of my fault than the performance of the optic.
