Nice if you don’t need to count on - Gideon Optics Omega Red Dot Reflex Sights

Let me get this out there. I really like this optic, so much so that when my first’s shake awake apparently stopped working I went ahead and replaced with another. Imagine my surprise when the second unit when left on bedside overnight also doesn’t power back on! Doing a little research, I see another comment that apparently this is a design “feature” to save battery. If after 12hrs the unit hasn’t moved it goes to permanent off. Hmm? If you can live with this, good. For me this is a non-starter. Maybe on a range toy, but I can get other quality optics I can count on for this price. Truly disappointed as I really liked what this company was trying to do.
