Dare I Say.. Better Option than a SRO?

Just as many of the other reviews state, this is a high-quality SRO clone that's loaded with great features. I'd argue this is better option that an SRO for a few reasons. first, the SRO is not designed to be a "battle-ready" optic, I have no doubt that it is, however if it's intended use is as a competition red dot, is it really worth paying hundreds of dollars more for the high-end name brand? The Gideon Omega is well worth trying if you're looking for a superb competition optic. Use the $ you save to upgrade your competition pistol in other ways. Or buy more ammo ;).

Great Optic!

I’ve only used it once so far but I’m loving it. The green circle dot is bright and crisp even on a sunny day! Also I got a good deal with using a coupon and optic bucks with free shipping.

Cons:

Cannot change circle dot to dot only. That is just the way it is made.

Range, self defense

I love this red dot, it's fast to pick up, the company is fantastic as I dropped my firearm and the optic broke and they had the best customer service ever and replaced it, and I told them I dropped my firearm, it didn't matter!
So great optic IMO and thank you Optics Planet always great to deal with!

get in omega isn’t excellent optic. I love the 10 different settings. I love the size. The clarity and the size of the dot and optics planet has very good customer service.

Great Optic at a Reasonable Price

The Gideon checks all of my boxes and I shoot close to 3000 rounds a month. Huge window, crisp green dot, easy to zero and so far after 1000 rounds no issues.

Compared to my C-more RTS-2 it is hands down a better optic. Also they are very responsive for warranty requests. I thought I had an issue but it turns out it was a poorly threaded barrel causing me trouble - Gideon was quick to respond and it was a real person, not a chatbot. Glass lenses clean well and resist scratching as well. Total weight of the optic is just 50 grams with screws and battery.

Great value and quality

Very nice optic. Clear crisp dot for my astigmatism. I purchased the 3moa green dot with a 45moa circle. It is very nice, however I wish I could switch between the two and not have to always have them both together.
I guess when it says Multi reticle it doesn’t necessarily mean multi choice.
