My 69 year old eyes just aren't what they used to be, I'm therefore in the process of upgrading all my firearms with optics. Scopes for my rifles and at first lasers for my handguns, and now these amazing red dot holo sights. I had previously purchased a Holosun green dot with 65moa aiming circle for my mini-14 rifle, and I was very pleased with it, but it was quite expensive, worth it, but expensive. I needed something for my Ruger MkIV and I saw this Gideon for sale on OpticsPlanet for a reasonable $240, I didn't expect too much at this price point, but turns out I was totally wrong. What a great buy, holds zero quite well, even though it has an unusual 1.5 moa adjustment I find it is spot on at ranges I typically shoot with this .22. Recommend it highly for anybody with a MkIV, it'll put a smile on your face! I can't say I'm as good a shot as I was as a 21 year old Marine Sergeant, but not bad. Optic is sturdy and well made, has multiple screw sizes, does not come with locktite. I had to file one screw down 2-3 threads on the extractor side for my 43x to function properly. No issues with anything else, easy to adjust.

I purchased this optic to put on ny EDC. So far so good. About 300 rounds through it and it has held zero throughout it all. Highly recommend this dot

Quality product with a nice finish. Fits very nicely on my Stoeger Micro 9 with a true co-witness. It came with a factory zero and only took six rounds to confirm zero. Definitely worth the money and discounts as well.

Love the product. Only drawback is that you should do investigation to find out what screws you need for your firearm. After receiving my optic I found the screws that were supplied did not fit my firearm. I had place an order for the screws and wait another 3-4 days for them to come in as extra cost. Minor inconvenience that could have been fixed had I known before I ordered.
