This is threaded in the European 13.5X1LH Thread Pitch, not the American standard 1/2x28. The threads aren’t meant to go all the way to the top. This thread pattern is functionally and aesthetically better than 1/2x28. Especially due to the left hand threading not rotating looser with the right handed rotation of the projectile. Plus it’s OEM so you can’t beat that. Just make sure your piston is 13.5x1LH

Glock threaded barrel for G17
The threads do not extend to the end of the barrel so the suppressor cannot engage the barrel. There is about quarter inch bare space before the threads can start.
