Overall a great piece of equipment.
I have been a user and fan of the goal zero products for about eight years now. I recently bought this as I needed more power to run the yeti 1250 power station.
A few things. 1. works a lot better than a series of the boulder 30 panels I was using. 2. When transporting it as I did in my truck, I noticed that if carried in the bed it has to be laid flat as it is too tall to be in the bed, meaning it is taller than the bed walls. 3. When I used it, I realized that when opening the "brief case" one has to be careful not to let the panels get "scratched" on any rocks and/or any other debris that might be on the ground. 4. The most important thing is that it has an anderson attachment cable. As such this means that you will have to get an anderson extension cable in addition to the panel. If you are using the old extension cables by goal zero, I believe they are 8mm ones there is an adapter sold by goal zero that will convert the anderson adapter to an 8mm adapter. When this adapter is purchased it is only about 8 inches long so a goal zero extention cord will be needed. When I got my adapter I used duct tape to secure it after attaching it to the panel as the adapter came undone and was almost lost the very first time I used the panel.
As far as efficiency the item works pretty well. Remember no panel operates at 100% of its rating. Meaning if a panel is states it is a 200W panel if you get 50% efficiency meaning you are churning out 100W t...
