I am a recent (civilian) jeep owner. Drove a jeep waaay back in the '60's in S E Asia. Got a jeep to use hunting but found no good way to secure a weapon in the Wrangler. This device is secure and still allows the weapon to be convenient at hand. Glad I bought it.
Shotgun rack for jeep wrangler
This rack works great in my 2017 jeep wrangler. It worked out so well that I bought the other rack made by the same company that holds AR type as well as AK rifles. I highly recommend this product. Yes I do.

Great Day Overhead Gun Rack
It only took 15 minutes to install. holds guns tightly and up out of sight.Jeep cabs are small so the use of the hard to use roof space is a space saver.Guns can be easily put in and removed from the rack while seated.

Great Day Gun Rack
I have installed this gun rack but have not used it yet. Installation was easy. It seems solid and I anticipate it will work great. It seems to secure guns solid and should keep them safe during travel. One note- I am 5'9" and it seems like I will have plenty of headroom. I can see taller users possibly having issues. However, that is purely speculation on my part.

2015 Wrangler overhead gunrack
This product held the guns safely and securely over the jeep trails while elk hunting. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because you can't have anyone in the passenger seat unless they recline the seat significantly due to the right bracket being located and inch from their forehead. That is with this rack mounted as far forward as I could get it without some personal fabrication.
