Same extraction problem as in other reviews. Also the slide is super slick. The pattern on front just doesn’t have any “grip” like their V1 slide, which is a great slide. I would trade for just an OEM slide with the front serrations, in all honesty.

All rounds except for the last 2 of a magazine catch the firing pin. Either going in or coming out. Used all glock internals, agency barrel, factory barrel, nothing works. Working with GGP now to try to fix the problem but im 400+ rounds in and hours of frustration at the range. For a concealed carry gun this is an absolute no go.

Intention of buying the slide was usage on my 43x with Sig Romeo Red Dot with Sig Metal Shield cover.Fit and finish on the slide was perfect as the way that I like. My SPG43 slide is Grey.

The problem that I have encountered was when transferring upper slide parts from my 43x, found Extractor Depressor Plunger does not go in all the way inside the plunger hole. Only went in half way and stuck. Called Opticsplanet tech expert and he stated that a little too much paint inside the plunger hole. Opticsplanet exchanged a new slide for me after RMA return process. Guess what, 2nd slide had a same problem.

The solution was
- look for drill bit 3/16" or smaller which will fit perfectly but freely into the plunger hole(prefer a new bit)
- push back and forth slowly with hands(not drill) for about 5 to 7 times(do not use force)
- extractor plunger rod should go through smoothly with no blockage after the process

All parts from 43x upper slide fit perfectly inside new SPG43 slide now and work perfectly with lower parts.

Tips for screw size to secure Romero Zero RDS on top of SPG43 is MonsterBolts - #6-32 x 1/2" Flat Head Socket Cap Screws, ASTM F8356, Alloy Steel, Black Oxide, 10 Pack from Amazon.com with $4.83 which fits perfectly.
Please note that my Romeo Zero has a metal cover from Sig to protect polymer lens. I did try out Holosun 407k RDS on the slide initially but, it is a bit tight to fit in. Maybe a thick paint issue like a plunger hole.

GGP kills it everytime. I've never once seen a manufacturing defect from ggp ever! I also have their g26 slide and barrel.. High quality company. Thanks optics planet for quick shipping and good prices

Grey ghost products are always first rate . This slide is very nice looking it fit perfectly on my frame. The barrel fits perfectly. Grey ghost costs a little more , but they are worth the extra money. I have never gotten a bad product from them. When I show others my gun they always compliment on how good the guns look. And. Some say they haven’t heard of grey ghost .I tell them to check them out and optics planet can hook them up. Fast service they have always treated me fair.

This slide is a very nice fit and looks really good! It made the box looking Glock look like it has some swag. I thought at first it was missing the channel liner but the Glock 43 doesn’t have one. Optics Planet got my order out fast and they have excellent order updates with tracking.

I was originally planning on installing a less expensive and more "plain" slide on my 43X build. Then I saw this Grey Ghost Precision slide in FDE! The combination of beautiful machining and the GGP reputation motivated me to place the order. I wasn't disappointed! The OEM Glock parts fit perfectly and the slide cycled smoothly, even before lubing. I have only function tested, but I'm sure my first trip to the range with my 43X is going to be epic! The DLC coating should outlast Cerakote!

The slide is just a standard Glock 43 slide. It does not have the cut for the RMS-C. The finish is great and it is a quality part. I am just disappointed because I ordered it for the optics cut which it did not have.
