I purchased a few of these to compliment lightweight AR-15 and AR-10 builds. I own a couple Silencerco Omega silencers and switched from their ASR mounting solution to the Plan A from Griffin and couldn't be happier. I've shaved 1/2 pound from the front of my rifle in the interface with a MUCH simpler, repeatable firing solution. Be sure to secure this brake well before threading your suppressor over it to avoid it getting stuck inside the mount - otherwise, you 100% stupid proof and a great addition!
Pros:
- Lightweight!
- Impecable Machining
- Effective recoil reduction
Cons:
- More expensive than steel, but well worth it
Best Used for:
- Any build where weight and quality are first and foremost
