I love this evolution of the A-series pistol grips. This is definitely the modern take of the standard AR-15 pistol grip that decreases the angle and beefs up the size while including the bottom protrusion that the A1 grips have. I actually like this feature for whatever reason. Going to be pairing it with Griffin's stock.

Too slippery, had to return. Completely smooth on front and rear of grip. Sides have some texture but not nearly aggressive enough. If they took the rough texture that the standard cheap A2 comes it and put it on this grip it would be a real winner.

I love the A2 grips except for the finger nub, this grip gets rid of that, steepens the angle a little as well. I have quite a few of these, they are my go to grip now for AR style platforms. Will keep buying these, the FDE color matches well with Magpul products

Way better grip from the factory a2 grip that comes on most guns, no finger numb makes it comfortable for extended use. Hard plastic with good texture with no rubber, comes with new screw. Easy install, don’t forget safety selector spring!

Bought this grip for a new AR I had built. Wanted something that didn't have unnecessary bumps or humps and had a steeper angle than a1. Found this and I am pretty happy with it. Comfortable angle and I like the subtle texturing. Everything I need and nothing more.

I hate A2 grips. The nub, angle, and texture is not comfortable anywhere. It makes your wrist naturally cant to depress the trigger. Most other aftermarket options have a tail that sweeps up the rear of the lower receiver, which makes winter shooting a stretch of gloves and limits dexterity. Many of these just don't look aesthetically correct for clone type rifles.
Enter the A3 grip- a nubless, shallower angled, properly textured grip. It looks great on military clones-and it's even better to use.It doesn't surround your fingers with rubber or sandpaper textured plastic. It is simply a grip that does what it is supposed to do-be minimally intrusive to the operation of the rifle. You can swing down the trigger guard while winter shooting. You can grip it without canting your wrist to compensate for the grip angle. It doesn't have a high tail or extra backstraps that stretches your gloves out. It doesn't cost $40. This is simply, a properly designed and made grip. I'll never have another A2 grip-these A3s are far, far better.

So much better than the classic a2. Grip angle is more natural. Looks like it was meant to be on a classic M4/M16 clone. The more neutral angle is def more adept at modern shooting stances. All in all, I'd recommend for any build. Price is right and Griffin has never let me down with quality.
Pros:
- Quality
- Price and install ease
