Griffin Armament Close emitter optic
Great product, but had to make some DYi adjustments due to the loose fit on the pistol ACRO optic plate. Tried 2 different optic plates and it had the same issue. The slide reciprocation will manage to get it loose.

Overall this optic does work. But the shake awake feature does not truly work correctly on this optic. I had 2 of these and they both do the same thing. Works great - reliable and rugged. Shake awake works fine. I would buy again.
This has lasted for several rough training sessions and a 3 gun match. Shake awake works fine. Has held zero for all manner of 5.56 and 300 BO rounds. For the money I can't complain. Would be nice to have a larger window but enclosed optics are still evolving.

Not worth the coin
Seen this dot literally from 10 different companies and decided to go with Griffin based off the price and thinking that they would put out a quality dot based off their suppressors, but I was wrong. The green dot is barely visible during bright sunny days, kind of an acro-ish foot print, and the shake awake feature does not work. Buy their suppressors not their optics.

not full true acro fit
I bought this optic hoping it would fit my acro cut M&P 2.0. It wasn’t a full flush fit. There was some wiggle and stood slightly higher from the slide. It fits perfectly on the riser that comes with it and was able to put it on my PDW home defense setup so it works for that but unfortunately did not fit the acro cut slide so kinda disappointed with that.

Good alternative for a Acro
Got one to go on my Springfield Prodigy comp and it works perfectly. fit the Agency Acro plate tuque it down too. Zeroing was fast and easy.

Griffin Armament
Bought it to put on my Marlin 1895 45-70. I wanted something medium in size and it looks and functions great.

excellent green dot for the price
I read some reviews where people had trouble with fitment but I had no issues. I used the Gideon RMR to ARCO mount and have it mounted on my LFA Falcon X9. Im extremely happy with this green dot and cant recommend it enough. I used a laser bore sight to get it zeroed then took it to the range to fine tune it. I wouldnt hesitate to order another.

The Shake Awake is not there
It's a nice sight even though the sight lost zero becase the lateral mounting screw span off after firing of about 60 rounds. Although this could be mitigated by a drop of Vibra-Tite, the 100% deal breaker for me was the Shake Awake or the lack thereof. The dot does come back if the gun is motionless for half an hour or so... But if it sits longer, like overnight, the system just kills the dot, and you have to press the "+" button to turn the dot back on. A no go for me, because it is used on a night's stand gun. Sorry, I really...really wanted to like this red dot.

Bad Luck Maybe
Optic wouldn't stay on. Mounted it then a couple racks of the charging handle and it would just turn off. Must be a battery connection issue. Sent it back for store credit. Maybe it was just a bad batch of optics. Griffin Armament makes quality products I own several.
