This is the Go To stock completion kit for all of my builds, regular AR’s, suppressed, SBR’s etc. that little extra weight in the buffer makes for a flatter smoother shot. Even if you don’t need the entire kit, the SOB buffer is worth a look. It’s quality stuff as usual from Griffin Armament.

I purchased because I wanted to try the SOB weight on a GA MK-2 lower receiver, for a 10.3" 5.56 upper. I wanted to see how it compared to the kynshot. I also needed an endplate and receiver extension, so this kit made sense. There is nothing special about the tube, spring, nut or plate. It would be nice if they had an offering for a blue spring, but they don't so, whatever.

Great buffer system all around, however mounting hardwear for the end plate looks to be hardened and I have flattened 3 punches trying to stake this.

Handles MANY calibers and gasses without adjustment. Flawless on my .300blk. I like Griffin Armament, and they do not let down. There was only one thing to mention, it was noisey (springy sound), and I just greased up the spring with white lithium and that helps.

All of the extra features with a bundle price. Typical Griffin flawless fit and finish. Fitment to POF lower is great. SOB gives more dwell with less weight, yet plenty enough weight to cycle properly.

Great kit to optimize my suppressed 300 BLK. Love the AR-SOB, for shooting unsurpassed. Maritime receiver gives additional piece of mind. Using with a Recce 7; this kit is a must have! Looking at the bolt next and even another GA suppressor! Griffin Armament for all your suppression needs!

Used this on my latest 300blk build and works phenomenal!!! I have used several other buffer systems and this system operates flawlessly. Definitely one of the better buffer weight and spring set ups. Also pulled this out and ran it on a suppressed 5.56 and also ran flawlessly. As with multiple other griffin armament items I run on my guns, this is one of the better choices that I made. So as usual, I’m not disappointed. Great product, nice job fellas.

Got it in today. Installed on my DD MK18. It feels great. Seems like it does slow the bolt down when fired without the suppressor, but runs great with the can on the gun. Would definitely recommend. Will probably buy another one for my 300blk.
