Solid brake
Was initially impressed with the brake just from the finish and build quality, comes with everything you need to properly time it aswell. Once I actually got it out to the range I got to see how well it reduced the recoil, I have an extremely over gassed gun to clarify. This plus the jp silent captured spring keep the barrel level during rapid fire. Just keep in mind the blast from this brake is extremely violent, if you’re doing any close quarters work or any kind of team drills I’d either recommend just sticking to a birdcage, or using a blast shield or suppressor to keep your buddies from wanting to murder you.

AWESOME BRAKE!
Very easy to install with the provided shims. Muzzle recoil was definitely tamed and flash was minimal in my line of sight. Can’t wait to get my suppressor to match! Would definitely recommend this product and will be using for my future builds.

Works great, a little flamey
I bought this to use with my QD Blast Shield (first gen) on my 11.5" pistol and liked it so much I bought a second for my 14.5. It works great for recoil management but it was spitting some big fireballs out of the pistol. I have not shot the rifle with it yet but I don't expect it to be much different. Fit and finish is excellent, the only downfall is the price.

Awesome muzzle device from an outstanding company.
First of all, this thing freaking rocks. Very easy installation, and it locks up nice and solid. Recoil mitigation Is great, but 5.56 doesn’t really have that much to begin with. Firing my rifle with the muzzle device installed was a dream. It works as advertised, and keeps the barrel very stable. The fit and finish were excellent, and optics planet did their part making sure I got it in time to shoot this past weekend. After 400 rounds on the range I can say this is an absolute no-brainer to buy. I definitely will be doing more business with Optics planet Due to their quick shipping and low prices. I cannot wait to get the M4SD2 suppressor for this fantastic brake. A+++++
