Sn-ach is a solid charging handle
Just put this onto my 11.5” AR. No gas at all when compared to other rifles I was shooting at the time. One rifle was noticing gassy. When I switched over to mine with the Griffin Arms Snach, it produced zero noticeable gas. Next up is to install a suppressor and see how that pans out.
MUST install for it to 'work' properly.
While holding the charging handle in your hands, the ambidextrous finger tabs won't seem to work properly (only one side appears to work, unlike an AXTS handle or similar). But once installed, the charging handle works perfectly by pulling on just either side or both. Haven't seen how effective it is at redirecting gas yet. Nice quality part.

Pretty Nifty
I'm running this on a 11.5" AR that I am running suppressed WITHOUT an adjustable gas block. The gas port on the barrel is optimized for dual purpose and the suppressor I'm using is not a flow through and is known for being a bit gassy. The charging handle does a good job an minimizing the gas to the face while suppressed. It is most certainly an improvement over a standard charging handle and worth the additional cost. From other reviews I've read it outperformed other handles that cost more which wouldn't surprise me.
When ran unsuppressed there is no gas to the face at all.
There are no mechanical issues at all with either latch handle and operates ambidextrously as intended. Would buy again.

100% better than factor SFAR charging handle. Got close to zero gas in face running a suppressor on a 16” Ruger SFAR!

Smooth and Less Face Gas for a lefty
I should buy a left handed upper but haven't yet. To that end I picked this up instead to go on a 300blk supressed pistol and it's done wonders. Significant reduction in gas to the face vs mil-spec. The operation is smoother and the ambi operation is very helpful.
