Doesn’t work for my 300 bo subsonic suppressed rounds - Griffin Armament Suppressor Normalized Ambi Configurable Handle

I am shooting a 10.5” subsonic 300 blackout carbine that has a CAT ODB (Old Dirty Bast@#d) suppressor. Perhaps it is the flow through design of the suppressor, but if I fire multiple rounds with about 20-30 seconds between rounds, I get a face full of gas that comes right through the charging handle port that sits in front of my face. It seems odd to me to put a vent port on the handle right at the end of the handle. In any event, I am not sure that this handle doesn’t make the gas worse and more direct than a plain charging handle.
