great brake
I have transitioned all of my rifles to griffin mounts. Not only are they some of the best looking compact muzzle devices, but lock up is secure and my can comes right off when I want it to. No lock up so far.

Works perfect with my griffin optimus installed on a 300 black out barrel threads are cut precisely finish is perfect love that you can put a thread protector on it if you dont have a silencer mounted on it

Griffin minimalist brake
I have four of these on 300 BO AR's, 556 AR and a 308 Scout. I am very pleased by their quality, effectiveness and the fact that they minimize the O/A length of the weapon they are mounted upon, while providing effective compensation and ability to mount a Griffin suppressor. They are cost effective suppressor mounting solution and I highly recommend them.

Griffin armament minimalist taper mount brake
This is a great quality product. I own three of them to attach my Optimus 9 suppressor to a couple of my different caliber rifles. The taper mount is great at not loosening after multiple shots, and it comes with all the shims you need to time it perfectly with your rifle.

High Quality / Highly Recommend
Since purchasing several Griffin suppressors I needed to outfit all my rifles with new mounts. All are great quality and work flawlessly. I really like the micros on the rifles that I always use my cans with as it’s like a direct thread but with small break.

fit and finish is excellent, smooth install with included shims. great recoil reduction and an excellent suppressor mount. taper mounts give you a very consistent zero and are very unlikely to seize onto the suppressor.

Excellence from Griffin
This taper mount came with shims and fit absolutely perfectly out of the package. The brake paired flawlessly with my Griffin Plan A adapter. High quality, smooth finish, no sharp edges, and a nice laser logo. The quality of the brake will last the life of my suppressors. I’ll be purchasing more Griffin brakes competition guns.

Top shelf mount
I like these for my 5.56 and 300BLK SBR. (Recce 5 and 2 Recce 7s)There is no wobble like some QD systems.. These are the only brakes I own so cannot compare recoil mitigation.They do seem better than a flash hider, but I never felt the AR recoil was bad to begin with. Granted, I’m not a competition shooter. I just got the 2 port version to compare on my .308 AR. i highly recommend the taper mount blast shield for shooting from a bench without a can. Throws blast forward and looks tough too.
