Grip Pod LE
The "Grip Pod LE" is the classic design without the steel-inserts in the bipod legs. Despite this, it is still plenty sturdy for civilian and law enforcement use. It has a fantastic and simple QD mounting system. Very sturdy and lightweight.

Excellent grip / bipod
I was looking for a grip bipod that was a little more elegant (ergonomically shaped, adjustable bipod leg height), but after doing some research and reading other reviews I decided to pull the trigger (pun intended) on this Grip Pod LE. I can say with zero hesitation that this was the right choice. Even though this is a step down from the steel reinforced version, this is still built like a tank and for the casual shooter, it's plenty robust. Additionally I have large hands and found this larger grip to actually be beneficial (for those of you with smaller hands, you may want to try it first). Another great feature is the cam lever to clamp it onto your rail versus requiring tools to put it on, move it, or take it off. I highly recommend it!
