I am almost always in the market for a new holster for my pistols and I was scanning personaldefenseworld.com and happened to come upon the Grovtech multi-fit holster. The author gave it a favorable review citing its ability to fit multiple pistols. I did some research and found the best available price here at OpticsPlanet.com. I bought both the size 98 and 99 because I was not sure which one would fit my pistols. I received the size 99 first and was delighted to find that it fit all 4 of my carry pistols (Glock 23 Taurus PT709. PT111, and PT809). The 99 has become my primary holster for my Taurus PT111.

Now, this is a fabric holster, which a LOT of people do not like, and it does not have a separate retention device on the holster. With that said, I have no issues with the holster and using it with any of my pistols.

I received the size 98 a few days later and was disappointed that it was too small to use with my PT709. When they say the 98 is for small pistols, they mean small pistols. I’m not sure what would fit in it. Maybe the LCP or LC9? Something that would be considered a pocket pistol? I’m going to get a small pistol to fit it at some point, just would have been nice to know some comparisons before I spent the money.
